The new MOMUSU (H!P on Mezamashi TV)

Yes, and now they are called “veteran idol”. Here’s few comments from fans during the Kazu-investigation.

“A lot of people are trying to compare MOMUSU with AKB, but AKB48 is more like an old-school MOMUSU. MOMUSU now is more like a professional artist and not just an idol, while AKB48 is an idol, which we might want to look up to”

“Mezamashi hasn’t been fair. There’s a lot of AKB things compared to MOMUSU, do you remember all the member name?” (and luckily the interviewer succeed in recalling all of MOMUSU’s members name)

One of the well-known celebrity  has been found to be at the MOMUSU concert venue and while been interviewed, he was found to bring a lot of light-stick. When asked, the response was ” I want to shine for them!”

There are a lot of people out there comparing MOMUSU with other Japan idol group and goes to the extend of comparing them with hallyu idol group such as SNSD, KARA, etc. Well, it’s not the case as been said by MOMUSU manager, “Instead of labelling MOMUSU as Idol, MOMUSU is more as the performance group(he means the group of performer)”

Well I agree with what been said. MOMUSU is the idol group with over 10 years history, with their always changing member(audition and graduation concept). While being at it, they maintained their relationship with other older generation of their group. Currently, they are up to 9th generation of the group member. Their fan-based also one of the largest and long-running in the entertainement world. Can you imagined the group with over 100 songs with different choreography. Their singles have topped the Oricon chart many time and it is proven that they inhibit a professional breed of entertainer.

I will always keep up my support for the group, which I had been followed for nearly 5 years now.

KBS MusicBank in Tokyo (KPop Festival)

Wrll, just tune in to KBS and it was the slot for KBS Music Bank. It was totally a concert. We could see hallyu star in songs line-up. The concert was held at Tokyo Dome and the seat was fully packed with enthusiastic audience/fans. This reminds me of Hello!Project Concert…

Just search the video in youtube. I guess some people might have uploaded it by now. Well, the perfomance of most of the stars is soo energetic and have a great response from the audience. Just something worth to note out, during the interval, the MC was doing some interview with the Ibaraki-ken resident which affected by the earthquate incident. The first question was asked by Gu Hara (KARA) regarding their favourite Korean food. Guess what is their answer?One answer KARA’s Lupin and another answer KARA’s Mister (???).. I guess, the QA was prepared by the MC which happened to be Gu Hara(KARA) and Gyuri(KARA). Both MC (KARA) even goes to the extend asking their favourite KARA’s member. Well, hope they don’t forget there’s another great star along them such as SNSD and TVXQ.

At the end of the show, there was lil interview with the audience and most of them said that the performance was fantastic and of high quality. Through our small tv, I could see some of the evidence that some of the singer just lip-synched to the song. I guess the audience barely see the singer’s lips movement anyway. However, the performance itself is quite satisfactory. The choreography was nealy perfect.. True to fact, not any idol could be hallyu star.. Ok, gotta get some sleep. Later.

I was watching a nice drama in Drama Special. The story is about love, friendship and pearl(??). Ok, straight to the point, one of the cast in the drama really caught my eyes. She’s really cute. Let see what I was able to capture from the tv. Just wanna let u know, the drama was in KBSWorld airs at night, nearly midnight.

Lady Saigo hanzai profile

Another nice japan detentive drama… The story is quite serious. What make it different with previous BOSS? This drama hi-regard the FBI, unlike BOSS which treated FBI as a penalty, or punishment or outcasted place and I like how BOSS put japan enforcement constitution as the primary structure.

It’s not a pain to include some comical or comedic element in detective drama, which was tried-and-true by other previous successful product(i.e galileo)..however, not a single laughter you can expect from this drama. Of course you can watch this drama to kill boredom. Surely, it’s not gonna be in my top listed drama for the year.

Accidental Couple

This is one nice drama which i have the opportunity to watch them every saturday nite.it’s a long rerun, around 4 episodes.

I like the nostalgic feeling when the romantic background sound keeps playing. It feels like watching romantic scene in ‘The successful story of the bright girl’ or ‘sweet proposal’

Q10. Drama version of cyborg girl?

It’s been a while after I’ve stopped watching this drama, and suddenly yesterday, I was stumble upon this title at some streaming site. I though to myself that I should finish what I’ve started. After spending few hours last night, I’ve been able to finish watching all of the episodes (by the way, there are 9 episodes in total)

Far-off than being the same storyline as “Zettai Kareshi”, “Q10″ involve the complex time-travel robot(Kyuto) which produce the recursive timeline such the one you can watch in “Cyborg Girl”. The plot is quite comical at the beginning but later turn into serious medium-budget drama. There are few epilogue and prologue in each episode, and somehow, I felt it doesn’t suit the early episodes. This has become the trend in youth jdrama; which is to have a main cast’s monologue. The following is future Heita’s prologue as written on the letter which he had implanted under Q10′s teeth, which depict some insight of 2080.

“…my wife kept on asking me about Kyuto
Kyuto is probably a creation of my imagination.
But..
Whenever I look into something, Kyuto will probably show up
I have first seen her in a business trip from moon to earth
I heard that we had our honeymoon to a place where glacier melted
The children took 1000 years to arrive…”

My rational was confuse either to feel the deep emotion or to laugh at the statement.

Anyway it is, Kyuto(Maeda Atsuko of AKB48) is quite cute.

Overall, the story brings a nice feeling of spring. It’s nothing serious, but have a robust plot with some nice-to-watch cast. There is also a point where you would feel that the storyline near the end was created in rush to fit the big idea, but it was done properly without causing the overall storyline become unbalanced.

IU & Wooyoung couple placed 5th in the drama couple ranking

Placed 4th is lee seunggi and hyoji couple from Brilliant Legacy
Placed 3rd is byeonghun and Taehui
Placed 2nd is Bae Yongjun his Winter Sonata couple
I’ve forgotten what is the name of the couple that placed 1st. From a glanced, i looked like Uhm Taewoong.

IU vs. Taeyeon(SNSD)

There are a lot of dispute regarding which female idol got the best voice in KPop scene. Most of people out there criticized IU. I don’t think it is right to put the blame on IU since she doesn’t explicitly claim that she has a better voice than Taeyeon. Well, it’s up to people who judge them. SNSD fan would absolutely go for Taeyeon even though at the start of their comment sounds like “I’m also a fan of IU, but..” or “I love IU, but..”.  And fans of IU would definitely claim IU has the best voice out there. Bias is all around though they tried hard not to sound bias.

As for me, for sure people would think that I am bias to IU. Yup, I love her look and cuteness (considering I was a fan of Morning Musume whose previously looking for “kawaii~” and now seek for “aegyo~”. Honestly, when I hear Taeyeon picking up her top pitch, it was never satisfying. Like lack of climax. Yup, she got the great voice there, but sounds like a note missing from the range. Differently for IU, it’s a great pleasure and satisfaction when she’s hitting the top pitch. It’s like “here it comes…” and “yay, she made it!!!” kind of feeling. That is the first thought after listening to IU’s Good Day.

Most of the critics is regarding IU’s shaky voice. Well, for me it does sound sexy and naive at the same time. It’s her voice personality. Whatever it is, she’s always cute and adorable. Enjoy the clips from these two nominee of best vocal!

Formidable Rival

Seems like i’ve missed this great drama in KBSWorld.

The child actress (Lily) is sooo cute, and talented, and able to express emotion really well.. A bit more talented than our own Mia i think.
